Kanban in University Setting
While the flow provided by Kanban is something that provides advantage to any process, implementing it in a command and control environment poses challenges due to superiors requiring proof of effectiveness before implementation. Additionally, the concept of flow that can be visualised in a variety of ways can be difficult to grasp for more traditional minds.
Applying Grounded Theory
The best uses for qualitative research inquiries has been a point of discussion during my research forum this quarter at Walden University. However, I felt this particular discussion was extremely relevant to how we should operate our every day learning in business or personal.
Experiential Learning
There are essential characteristics of experiential learning to note based on the observations of the Lewinian Model of Action Research, Dewey’s Model of Learning, and Piaget’s Model of Cognitive Development. All of these models have similar characteristics that result in the following conclusions presented by Kolb (1984):
